Club Info About our club

Lanark Amateur Swimming Club, originally founded in 1964, strives to improve the standard of swimming within the District and offers competitive opportunities for its Club Members. Our national governing body is the Scottish Amateur Swimming Association (SASA), based in Stirling, and we are affiliated to SASA West District, whose offices are in Glasgow.
The club has enjoyed many successes over the years, with swimmers winning titles at District and National level. Well aware that not all children will attain this standard, the Club offers opportunities for all our young swimmers whatever their level.

Our aim is to provide an enjoyable environment which will:

  1. Help swimmers to fulfill their potential.
  2. Prepare them to compete at a level appropriate to their ability.

Young swimmers new to competition will be given the support and encouragement needed to make their participation an enjoyable experience.
